The President of the Saxon State Parliament, Alexander Dierks, presented Linda Hüttner with the Saxon Constitutional Medal. The award ceremony took place in the Ständehaus in Dresden. In his speech, Alexander Dierks honoured the Chemnitz native as a person whose actions are guided by the idea of making her hometown a cosmopolitan and vibrant cultural city in which young people also find sufficient prospects. Her commitment to the European Capital of Culture 2025 is correspondingly strong, and she has repeatedly supported projects in particular that open up opportunities for young people and promote social participation.
