On 23 May, the Sonnenberg district will once again become an open cultural space at the "Hang zur Kultur" event. From 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and beyond, numerous venues invite you to enjoy music, art, hands-on activities and culinary offerings, with a special focus on the independent cultural scene in southern Sonnenberg. The parade under the motto "More flowers instead of concrete" will kick off at 1.45 pm, starting at Lessingplatz and leading to the Stadtwirtschaft.
The realisation of the free event is made possible by funding and local support, including the North-East Citizens' Platform, the Disposition Fund as part of the East Urban Development Fund, funds from the City of Chemnitz for micro-projects and the Volunteer Day, as well as other contributions.
