Funded small cultural projects in Chemnitz: brochure for a city tour through Chemnitz

Ä`Ringel through Chemnitz

"Ä`Ringel durch Chemnitz", a lovingly illustrated brochure describes a tour of Chemnitz city centre. Historic places and buildings are named, as well as Chemnitz residents who, with their wealth of ideas, gave these places unique characteristics and thus made them something special. It is a city tour for all citizens and guests of the city of Chemnitz, which also contains convenient directions for people with limited mobility.

In addition to presenting a tour of the city to familiarise visitors with some of the sights in Chemnitz, this brochure also focuses on accessibility. The brochure is intended to raise awareness of this topic and help to remove further barriers. The users of accessibility, such as the residents of the ASB residential centre, will continue to actively campaign for it.

Various funding opportunities supported the creation of the brochure. In addition, many volunteer hours were put in and work was carried out by those involved in the ASB residential centre.

The brochure is a joint effort and will be available from mid-December at most of the way stations.

The illustration of the brochure was funded by the City of Chemnitz's small project funding programme. The project was also supported by the Chemnitz Mitte citizens' platform.
