Funded small-scale cultural projects in Chemnitz: KULTURseptember at Rabenstein Castle

Promoting the Oberrabenstein recreational area and inclusive participation.

The aim of the "KULTURseptembers am Schloss Rabenstein" was to break down any existing barriers to cultural offerings by concentrating beer garden concerts on the weekends of September 2022, to enrich the Oberrabenstein recreational area culturally and to get to know the needs of the audience.

Above all, the beer garden concerts also offered musicians who do not have the opportunity to perform on large stages the opportunity to be heard and given space. The musicians from Akustik Leis, The Wildfires, Bernard G. Muller, Junodori, F.E.A. and TWO OF THE PACK came from the region, other German states, England and the USA. A mix of pop, blues and jazz was performed. This musical diversity also reflected the diversity of the audience.

The valuable insights gained from the many interesting and insightful conversations with the audience can be utilised in future cultural events according to the available possibilities.

The expansion of further collaborations and the independent realisation of the "KULTURseptember am Schloss Rabenstein" event from 2023 until beyond 2025 is planned. It is very important to the inclusion project to enable inclusive social participation.
