Revitalisation of the Brühl Boulevard with beats@karlskopf

On 26 August 2022, a new edition of beats@karlskopf took place, as every time on the terrace in front of the karlskopf store at Brühl 53.

The turntables started spinning at 18:00 sharp. DJ GREPH started off with the finest R&B and hip-hop sounds. This was accompanied by delicious MarxBier, selected cocktails and grilled sausages. The weather was great and by 11.00 pm around 250 people had gathered in front of the karlskopf store and were dancing to the music, which had been conjured up by deejaymathew. As always, the crowd was in a good mood, friendly, colourful and keen to round off a balmy summer evening with the finest music. The atmosphere was exuberant, the music was perfectly chosen and all the revellers had a great evening.

In the meantime, beats@karlskopf has become well-known and established and the initiators are always delighted when so many great people find their way to the Brühl. The karlskopf crew's event concept is a contribution to the Capital of Culture. It is important to them that BEATS is always free of charge, because they don't want to exclude anyone.

They are already looking forward to the next event and would like to take this opportunity to thank the City of Chemnitz's cultural organisation for its support within the framework of small project funding.
