Funded small cultural promotion projects in Chemnitz: Bring Da Truckaz

Bring Da Truckaz

The event brings together skateboarders, families and sports enthusiasts over three days at the Komkordiapark in Chemnitz. The event is the official stop in Germany for the international World Rookie Tour and attracts skateboarders from all over Europe. Amateurs and professionals also got their money's worth in their own competitions in the park and bowl disciplines and fought for the coveted trophies and the associated prize money in combination with an over-30 series.

The event is the largest of its kind in the whole of Germany and therefore has an enormous reach, both on site and online. Thanks to the partners of the "Bring Da Truckaz" event, a large network from sport to culture is integrated, which is active on various channels before, during and after the event.

One of the features of the popular skate festival is its informal character. Once again this year, the density of young talent and visitors was particularly striking. The event has grown over the past few years and has changed time and again, including the level of performance, which is becoming increasingly demanding. This year, there were also side events suitable for the target group, such as a graffiti jam, Cash4Tricks and two live after-skate parties in the form of open-air events.

Next year, "Bring Da Truckaz" will once again go into a new round. For those interested, there is still plenty of time to practise so that they can take home a title or two next year. With a view to 2023, the project is to be combined with a music festival afterwards and take over the entire Konkordiapark.
