What will happen in 2025?
On 18 January 2025, we will open the programme year of the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025, giving you a whole year to discover the unseen in Chemnitz. The city and the Capital of Culture region will present themselves to Europe for a whole year in 2025 with a colourful, diverse and unique programme. What happens in 2025?
On 18th January 2025 we are celebrating the official protocol ceremony to launch the programme of the title year European Capital of Culture 2025. For the whole year you still have the chance to C (see) the Unseen in Chemnitz. The city and Capital of Culture Region will present a colourful, diverse and unique programme for Europe throughout the year of 2025. Starting from 18th January the programme will be taking place everywhere and around the streets of Chemnitz. You will find all current information at
