Capital of Culture 2025 and public participation
City wants to enter into dialogue with clubs

Mayor Ludwig would like to discuss more opportunities for citizen participation and the Capital of Culture application with associations on 11 September 2018.
Association chairpersons who are interested in receiving an invitation should send a short email with the name of the association, address and name of the chairperson to beteiligung(at)stadt-chemnitz.de by 17 August 2018 or call the public authority number 115.
After the non-binding registration, the clubs will receive an official written invitation with all the information.
Key idea of the Capital of Culture application
AUFbrüche. Opening Minds. Creating Spaces.
In the coming months, this central idea will be revitalised with concrete projects in an intensive exchange with the people of Chemnitz.
