Short description:
At WSV Grüna e. V., athletes between the ages of 4 and 53 train in the Nordic ski disciplines of ski jumping and Nordic combined.
Four ski jumps are available for training in the Rabenstein Forest, above the Grüna forester's lodge. The smallest mini hill for beginners has a maximum length of five metres, while the large cast-iron base hill for experienced jumpers allows distances of over 40 metres. As the ski jumps are covered with plastic mattings, jumping is also possible without snow in the summer months.
7 volunteer instructors are available to the athletes for training on the ski jumps on Saturday afternoons and Sunday mornings and for athletics training in the Grüna gymnasium on Wednesday afternoons.

In recent years, WSV Grüna has been honoured several times by the Saxony Ski Association as the talent support centre of the year in the field of ski jumping.
