Short description:
LSVD+ Verband Queere Vielfalt in Sachsen e.V. is a civil rights organisation that represents the interests and concerns of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, asexual and queer people (LSBTQIA+). The association advocates a society that recognises and values self-determination and the diversity of lifestyles as an enrichment.
Through its work, the organisation contributes to greater safety for LGBTQIA* people. It organises actions, campaigns and events and is the point of contact for various institutions. At the same time, the LSVD+ Saxony is a contact point for information and counselling. The association provides support for questions and problems that arise for LGBTQIA+ people due to prejudice, social or legal discrimination and marginalisation. In two projects, the association offers special support for queer migrants and equal opportunities in the workplace.
