Short description:
Founded in 1964 as a music group, the ensemble quickly grew into today's university orchestra. However, the Collegium musicum is open to all instrumentalists, not just members of the TU. In regular concerts in and around Chemnitz, as well as at TU events, the members perform repertoire ranging from baroque to film music. Rehearsals take place on Wednesdays from 18:30 to 21:00 (see homepage for location). The organisation is happy to welcome new members. If you are interested, please contact us via Facebook or e-mail!
