Short description:
The Förderverein zur Traditionspflege in Stelzendorf is a non-profit, registered association.
It was founded in 1998 and emerged from the Stelzendorf citizens' initiative, which was established in 1995.
The youngest member of the association is 14 years old, the oldest a proud 77 years.
The aim of the association's work is to reappraise the history of Stelzendorf, document the present and convey a sense of home to all former and current residents of Stelzendorf, as well as to maintain the traditions of the annual summer festival, which was organised for the 25th time in 2019. The popular potato festival has also been organised every year in October since 2010.
The association endeavours to appeal to and work with all age groups.
