The KGV "Sonnige Höhe" e. V. is located in the Gablenz district of Chemnitz. The gardens are located between Carl-von-Ossietzky-Straße, Clausstraße and Zschopauer Straße in the centre of a quiet and attractive residential area.
The complex was founded in 1925 and can therefore look back on a long tradition. The site currently has 180 gardens between 200 and 400 m² in size.
The garden restaurant and clubhouse "Sonnige Höhe" is located in the centre of the allotment garden site. The carving association "Sonnige Höhe" e. V. also has its domicile in the former milk house. It is the only carving association in Germany that is connected to an allotment garden association.
