Trainees and students celebrate their successful graduation
Today, Mayor Ralph Burghart, Cornelia Schwalbe, Head of the City of Chemnitz’s Central Administration Office, and the trainers congratulated the City of Chemnitz’s apprentices and students from the 2022 intake (early years educators) and 2023 who have successfully completed their training or studies. At the same time, they welcomed the graduates who have been taken on as new employees of the City of Chemnitz. The ceremony was accompanied by music from the live band ‘Mac’.
The following have successfully completed their respective training programmes or degree courses:
• 16 administrative assistants
• four office management assistants
• three gardeners
• one road builder
• three paramedics
• one swimming pool operations assistant
• two animal keepers
• one media and information services specialist, specialising in library services
• one media and information services assistant specialising in archives
• 14 nursery teachers
• one geomatics specialist
• eight Bachelor of Laws students, General Administration
• three Bachelor of Arts students in Social Pedagogy
Of the 58 graduates, 53 were offered permanent positions with the City of Chemnitz. 48 of these young professionals have accepted the offer. They will now take up their posts in the various departments and roles within the City of Chemnitz.
