The plot is situated within the impact zone of traffic noise emissions. Future developers must ensure the necessary noise protection is in place during both daytime and night-time hours. A structural acoustics assessment must be submitted with the relevant planning application. Detailed acoustic studies relating to the ‘Südverbund’ Phase II project, as well as the Chemnitz noise emission plan, are available at the Environment Office of the City of Chemnitz, Environmental Assessment Department.
