At its meeting on 2 October 2025, the Committee for Urban Development and Mobility resolved to draw up a local development plan for the ‘MCC – Chemnitz Medical Campus’ area.
Early public notification in accordance with Section 3(1), first sentence, of the German Building Code (BauGB) is to take place via a two-week online publication.
The planning concepts and the reasons for them will be published
29 July 2026 to 11 August 2026
on the internet at www.chemnitz.de/fruehzeitige_beteiligungsowieand on the Saxony state portal at www.bauleitplanung.sachsen.de.
In addition, the planning documents will be made available for public inspection at the New Technical Town Hall, Friedensplatz 1, in Public Inspection Room A014, to the left of the main entrance, during the following times:
Mondays to Wednesdays | from 8.30 am to 3.00 pm |
Thursdays | from 8.30 am to 6.00 pm |
Fridays | from 8.30 am to 12.00 pm |
During this publication period, members of the public will be given the opportunity to comment and discuss the matter at the Town Planning and Property Office, Room B520. Please make an appointment with the Town Planning and Property Office by telephone (0371 488-6101) or email (stadtplanungsamt-beteiligung(at)stadt-chemnitz.de) before visiting in person.
Comments may also be submitted in writing to the Town Planning and Property Office.
