Construction work by the civil engineering department begins on Tuesday (4 September)
On Tuesday, 4 September, the civil engineering department will begin a construction project on Hainstraße to renovate the road surface: the construction area extends from the Hainstraße / Palmstraße junction to Forststraße. The construction length is 250 metres. The existing asphalt pavement will be milled off by around five centimetres and a new asphalt surface course made of stone mastic will be laid.
As part of the construction work, the bus bay between Palmstraße and Forststraße will be decommissioned as a bus stop and a new bus stop will be built between Forststraße and Dresdner Straße.
The construction work should be completed by 21 September 2012.
Strabag AG has been commissioned to carry out the construction work.
The construction costs amount to 105,000 euros.
Note for road users: The construction work will be carried out with half-sided closure of Hainstraße with one-way traffic control in the direction of Dresdner Straße, i.e. landward traffic guidance will be guaranteed. The diversion in the opposite direction will be via Dresdner Straße and Lessingstraße.
