Ceiling renewal on Lützowstraße
Construction work by the civil engineering office begins on Monday (3 September) - road users please note the half-sided closure
On Monday, 3 September, the civil engineering department will begin a construction project to renovate the road surface on Lützowstraße between Horststraße and Irkutsker Straße over a construction length of 350 metres.
The resurfacing of the carriageway should be completed by 12 October 2012.
During the construction work, the asphalt surface will be milled down to the so-called pack layer or small paving layer and then provided with a uniform new asphalt surface, consisting of asphalt base course, binder course and asphalt surface course. The asphalt surface course will be laid as noise-optimised asphalt concrete.
The road kerbs and the footpath on the right-hand side will also be renewed as part of the construction work.
Chemnitzer Verkehrsbau was commissioned to carry out the construction work.
The construction costs totalled 214,000 euros.
Information for road users: The construction work will be carried out with a one-way road closure on one side of Lützowstraße in the direction of Neefestraße, i.e. the direction of travel in the direction of Neefestraße will remain open. The diversion in the opposite direction will be via Neefestraße - Carl-Hamel-Straße - Stollberger Straße - Irkutsker Straße.
