Short description:
The Ernährungsrat Chemnitz e.V. is an open association of various stakeholders from civil society, education, business, administration and politics and other interested parties.
The Food Council sees its role as a platform for information, communication, exchange and networking. The aim is to promote dialogue. This results in co-operations and projects that invite people to join in and help shape the organisation.
The association builds on and aims to strengthen existing structures, for example in the retail, catering and education sectors, as well as cooperation with manufacturing companies in the region. The understanding of urban-rural relations is a cooperation characterised by mutual appreciation. The association was founded in May 2024.
Offers:
- Networking and exchange on the topic of healthy, regional nutrition in the city and region
- Active participation in the association, e.g. founding of working groups (community catering, website/social media, edible city, etc.), acquisition of funding, organisation of network meetings, etc.
- Membership as a public member or supporting member (membership fee is voluntary)
