The Schocken Building

The Schocken Building
The "Schocken" building was established in 1929/30 by Erich Mendelsohn, one of the most famous architects at that time. The 7 floors of the building are pushed backwards.

The construction was made of steel and concrete and had a convex buckled front following the former course of the Brückenstraße.
