The Wooden Workshop: Saxon Embroidery Machine Factory at Kappel

The building is located in Zwickauer Street 137. The factory is entirely made of wood. It is equipped by a crane running on a wood constructon.

The hall has a length of 50 metres and is divided into 3 naves. In the 9-metre-high middle nave a glass skylight is put up to the whole ceiling.

The hall is one of the remaining production plants of this type in Germany.
